I was walking through Disney World when I received Sandy’s message about getting maternity photos done. I literally stopped walking to my next ride, because I was so excited for the session. The vision she had for her maternity photos were completely in line with the kind of photos I love to produce: timeless, dreamy, elegant, but still natural and romantic. We decided to have her maternity photos at Steveston.

Since then, we chatted about getting that sunset glow, the outfits she and her husband Shane can wear, what props we can use, and the locations that can make her vision come to life. All was well, and the photo shoot day came along, bright and sunny and beautiful. Praise the Lord for this wonderful gift of life, and the opportunity to capture this sweet season for a sweet couple!

Sandy and Shane, thank you so very much for allowing me to photo-journal this special time for you. As you two prepare to start a little family with this tiny bundle of joy still enjoying the warmth inside the womb, I pray that God will give you both the wisdom to raise this child up to become as wonderful as you two with a heart for God’s kingdom. Though there may be times of sleepless nights and diaper changes, may your future be sweet and full of joy and hope.
