Rocky Point Engagement Photos | Ann and Sam

Ann and Sam are absolute sweethearts! Pretty much from the moment I started taking their engagement photos at Rocky Point Park, I can tell that they adore each other and just love being together. We met at Rocky Point Park to capture some of their special moments. This is a beautiful local park full of nature and scenery, near the mountains and water and a pier. Rocky Point Park is where they often enjoyed strolling together, so it has a special meaning to them.

They are also one of the most chill couples I have ever met. Every time I ask them about how wedding planning is coming along, I never sense any stress, especially during this COVID pandemic, and their wedding is scheduled to happen in September 2020. So I asked them this question:

What is some advice you have for newly engaged couples planning their wedding? Especially during this time of COVID-19 when many things are uncertain?

“We communicate to find out what matters to each of us and settle on something we both agree on. If it’s a green light, we resume on prepping. If not, then we’ll probably postpone. Overall it’s not that stressful–there is not much we can do and prepare as places closed down during the lockdown, so we just enjoy the present time ourselves and building our relationship, and pray. God is in control.“

When asked what they were looking for in their search for a photographer for their wedding and engagement photos, they said, “We are looking for someone who can help us document our special day, that down the road the photo serves as a reminisce for us. A story to tell behind each smile, each gesture and moment.”
