The Story of a Beautiful Nurse and a Compassionate Doctor

“Her smile lit up the whole room. I knew I had to know this person more!”

When Alex and Andrew first met, they were immediately drawn to each other. Alex was impressed with Andrew’s warm and compassionate demeanor, and Andrew was struck by Alex’s quick wit and infectious laughter. They found themselves talking easily, as they were old friends. Alex was taken aback by how comfortable she felt with Andrew. Andrew was similarly smitten with Alex and was captivated by her beauty and easygoing nature. It was evident from their first meeting that they had a strong connection and were eager to get to know each other better.

Laid back, easy-going couple who love to serve and care for others

Alex and Andrew quickly discovered that they had a lot in common, which helped to strengthen their connection. They shared a love of games and exploring the lower mainland, and both had chosen careers as healthcare providers, which allowed them to serve and care for others. Their personalities were also well-suited to each other, as they were both laid-back, easy-going individuals who loved to help other people. Furthermore, they connected over being “halfies” (of mixed racial decent) and the unique experiences and challenges that come with having a multicultural background. These shared interests and experiences helped Alex and Andrew to bond quickly, and it became clear that they had a special connection from the very beginning.

A foundation of love, communication, forgiveness and mutual support

Alex and Andrew attribute the success of their relationship to a foundation of love, communication, forgiveness, and mutual support. They see each other as best friends and prioritize their relationship, even during the wedding planning process. They set aside specific days for wedding planning and make it a fun and enjoyable experience. For example, they took a day trip to the VanDusen Gardens, where they were able to discuss their wedding plans while being surrounded by the beauty of the gardens. Their wedding planning was mingled with laughter and taking photos. This approach allowed them to not only make important decisions about their wedding, but also to create a special memory together. The combination of love, communication, and prioritizing their relationship has been key to the success of Alex and Andrew’s relationship, and they believe it will serve them well in their future together.

By the time this video is up on my blog, Alex and Andrew have already had a small intimate backyard wedding, and were to have a big celebration the next year for their vow renewal.
