Adeline and Daniel were from the same high school, but did not have many chances to interact during those years. According to Adeline, they did not pay much attention to each other at the time. They did not become friends and start dating until university. When I asked about their relationship, Adeline said, “We’re boring haha”.  Â
They may disagree, but the moment I saw this lovely couple across the parking lot, my impression of them was that they are friendly, easy going, and stylish! And being friendly, easy going, and stylish is anything but boring. What makes a relationship strong and beautiful is not some epic, Hollywood dramatic story, but one of love and commitment, with a sprinkling of a sense of humor and fun. At one point, Adeline was looking at Daniel with such loving eyes that after I had taken the photo, I pointed Adeline to it and she responded with, “I was thinking of fried chicken”. Say whaat?? Apparently, they also game together. Now I’m sure all the guys out there will agree if your girl games with you, she’s a keeper.
Speaking of stylish, we had discussed about outfits beforehand, and Adeline pleasantly surprised me with her lovely lace dress and a long, cozy and fluffy jacket from Uniqlo. Her non-traditional, classy and delicate engagement ring from Cavalier stole my heart. Her style for the day was simple and elegant, and I’m totally digging it. Daniel’s suit from Moores was also spot on and, well, suits him perfectly (pun unintended). What’s more, they even brought a red bow tie for their handsome dog Max! Believe me, this Malamute German Shepherd looked absolutely dashing with that bow tie. He kind of stole the show for a moment (I think Adeline and Daniel would agree). Adeline said he was somewhat uncooperative, but I say that he was one of the most well-behaved dog I have met yet!
The sun was coming in and out of the clouds that day. The light was changing from diffused and soft to bright and harsh. However, we managed to get some gorgeous golden light before the clouds completely took the sun away from us. It was getting real cold but Adeline and Daniel braved the chill. As a result, we got some stunning images because they were such troopers!
