Love what you see?
Standing next to Buntzen Lake after their Westwood Plateau wedding as newlyweds, they looked at each other lovingly. Without any prompts or posing from the photographers, he tenderly pulled her in close by the waist, and kissed her on the forehead. She closed her eyes and smiled ever so sweetly. All I had to do was document it. This was one of the many intimate and beautiful moments of their wedding day.
I had the wonderful opportunity to be the second shooter* for the super fun and amazing photographer Frank Wang whom the couple had hired. When he mentioned that the couple put a lot of thought into the wedding decoration details, I was thrilled. I absolutely LOVE capturing all the pretty details! From greenery and baby’s breath to lights and candles, calligraphy on signs and table seating chart, the candy bar, golden chargers, cute wedding favors, and so much more!
L and J got married at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Coquitlam that day, and it was an emotional ceremony full of laughter and tears. It poured rain the entire morning, but the skies cleared up right after the ceremony. We were able to stay dry while we took pictures for the wedding party and bridal portraits at Buntzen Lake. What a huge blessing! The weather was cold, but the couple emitted much warmth from their love for each other. Not to mention, the entire wedding party braved the cold in their handsome suits and pretty dresses in a beautiful mix of dusty blue and grey.
