A “Tinder” Embrace for Kirsten and Patrick’s Engagement at Britannia Shipyards

A successful Tinder match, Kirsten and Patrick’s tender embrace radiates just how deeply they feel for each other. I was blessed to witness the celebration of their love and engagement, set against the amber sunset at Britannia Shipyards in Richmond, B.C. This setting was the perfect location for capturing their fun outlook on life and their devotion to each other!

Patrick is a witty conversationalist whose humour sets the tone for a lifetime of laughter and enjoyment of being together! This extroverted introvert was spellbound at the first sight of Kirsten! Kirsten felt comforted by Patrick’s genuineness and how at ease he makes her feel when they are together. They both work hard, enjoy their independence, but appreciate that they are meant for each other!

Patrick surprised Kirsten on Christmas day with a cute “thought that counts” T-shirt… and a stunning engagement ring, proposing down on one knee, for a gift that will not be topped so easily! Later that day they celebrated with their family and friends, but happy for the quiet time beforehand to take in the moment together!

Their Britannia Shipyards Engagement photos are pure delight to capture, as the sun dimmed behind their sweet kisses, long lingering hugs, and affectionate gazes. The evening’s temperature started to drop, but nothing could cool the embers of love these two have for each other! Kirsten wrapped a shawl and Patrick’s arms around her, toasting the close of the day with a Starbucks and a soft kiss on the bed of Patrick’s pickup!
